Shred-Tech Announces Executive Promotions

Roberto and Rutledge promoted.

Shred-Tech, the Cambridge, Ontario-based information destruction and reduction systems manufacturer, has announced the appointments of Joe Roberto to the position of vice president of sales and marketing and Cheryl Rutledge to the post of human resources manager.

 

As vice president of sales and marketing, Roberto oversees the company’s worldwide sales and marketing initiatives and dealer activities. 

 

As human resources manager, Rutledge is responsible for developing and managing employment and training programs, salary compensation, job evaluations and benefits.

 

Previously, Roberto served as sales manager and was responsible for overseeing Shred-Tech’s sales activities. He bolstered the company’s worldwide sales team, leading to a 27 percent increase in total sales, according to a press release from Shred-Tech. Prior to joining Shred-Tech in 2004, Roberto was president and a partner in Kwik-Shred, a document shredding company based in Chicago.

 

Previously, Rutledge was human resources coordinator, where she established standardized policies and procedures and brought continuity to the Shred-Tech organization. Prior to joining Shred-Tech in 2003, she served as the executive assistant to the chairman and CEO of CCL Industries Inc. Rutledge received her Human Resource Management Certification from Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario.

 

Shred-Tech manufactures nearly 200 mobile shredder trucks per year. In 2008 the company will have approximately 2,000 of its trucks on the road in North America. More information is available at www.shred-tech.com.
