Secure Destruction Business (SDB) magazine and Shred-Tech are among the sponsors of Shred Summit 2007, which will take place Oct. 17-19 at the Wyndham Chicago O’Hare hotel.
The event has been organized by Total Training Services of Spartanburg, S.C. Other sponsors for the event include EZ Shred, IPS Balers, Jim Kiltch Enterprises, North Shore Capital Advisors and Viking Fibres Inc.
The programming includes a mixture of topics specific to secure shredding and storage as well as guest speakers from the wider worlds of sales, motivation and management.
Industry-specific topics include “Record Storage 101,” “Electronic Scrap” and demonstrations of Shred-Tech shredding equipment.
The roster of guest speakers includes:
· Chris Denove, a vice president with JD Power and Associates and author of the book “Satisfaction: How Every Great Company Listens to the Voice of the Customer;”
· Fara Warner, Wall Street Journal correspondent and author of “The Power of the Purse, she will speak on the challenges women face in business;
· Scott Ginsberg, the author of several books, including “The Power of Approachability” and “How to be That Guy;” and
· Greg Blake, a motivational speaker and “Chief Encouragement Officer” of Pepworks International.
