Shred America, Fort Mill, South Carolina, has expanded into Florida by opening a new location in Jupiter, Florida. Bobby Exizian, a long-time resident in Jupiter, will serve as the managing partner of Shred America-Florida, the company reports in a news release on the expansion.
“We identified south Florida as a potential Shred America location early in our strategic planning of our organization, and we can’t think of anyone better than Bobby to manage our operation,” says Ryan Richard, CEO of Shred America. “We are a veteran-owned company that provides best-in-class destruction services, which is well needed in south Florida.”
“I couldn’t be more excited to have this opportunity to move back home, closer to family and friends with an organization that brings the most secure and convenient way for businesses in the area to protect themselves and employees with destroying confidential information,” Exizian adds.
New partner
Additionally, Iron City Document Management, Pittsburgh, has changed its name to Shred America Iron City as a result of a partnership with Shred America, Shred America reports in a news release. The Pittsburgh-based company has National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) certification and offers a fleet of mobile shredding units that service the greater Pittsburgh area.
“With this Shred America [and] Iron City partnership, we are pleased to combine industry experience and capabilities of the Shred America team with over 90 years of Iron City’s relationship building in the western [Pennsylvania], Ohio and West Virginia region. Together, we will raise the bar in providing NAID-certified document management services,” says Phil Sonnenklar, president of Iron City.
“Iron City Document Management and the Sonnenklar family has been a fixture in the city of Pittsburgh for decades, and we are very excited about partnering with such a great family and company with a proven track record,” says Ray Barry, a Shred America partner. “The entire local team will still be heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the company with the added support of the Shred America team. This partnership helps accomplish our goal of providing our clients national coverage on a local level.”
Shred America is a veteran-owned business that also has NAID certification. It currently has offices in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Louisiana and Virginia. It also provides national coverage through its Shred America Partner Network.
