Superior, Wisconsin-based ShearCore has introduced what it calls its “biggest concrete processor yet” in the form of Fortress FC95 model.

ShearCore, a division of Exodus Global, says the Fortress FC95 has been “engineered for unmatched strength, longevity and cutting performance,” and has been designed “to tackle the toughest demolition applications with ease.”

Weighing 21,000 pounds, the Fortress FC95 features a 65-inch jaw opening and 64-inch jaw depth, delivering what ShearCore calls superior reach and cutting power with a total reach of 13 feet, 7 inches.

The new attachment carries a minimum excavator weight requirement of 105,000 pounds for second-member and 185,000 pounds for third-member mounting. “The FC95 is built for large-scale, high-demand jobsites,” states ShearCore.

“The FC95 continues our commitment to delivering the most durable, productive shears and processors on the market,” says Rich Currie, the firm’s vice president of sales. “Our engineering team has pushed the limits to ensure structural superiority and performance our customers can count on.”

ShearCore says key features of the FC95 include long cutting knives with dual apex for extended blade life and optimized material penetration; abrasion-resistant components to protect the structure from wear; weldable teeth for easy customization and reconditioning; full-length side plates for enhanced structural integrity; advanced greasing system for extended pivot life; and hardened sleeves designed to safeguard structure bores from wear.

The Fortress FC95 was designed and is manufactured in Wisconsin and supported by personnel there, with ShearCore saying the model reflects its “relentless focus on quality, service and innovation.”

In addition to ShearCore, other Exodus Global brands include BladeCore, Connect Work Tools, OilQuick Americas and RockZone Americas.
