David Howard has been named Vice President and General Manager of Severstal Sparrows Point LLC. He succeeds Thomas Russo, who is leaving after close to 33 years at Sparrows Point, located in Maryland.
Howard, who has been in the industry for 28 years, most recently served as vice president, corporate planning, for Severstal North America. He joined the company follows its acquisition of the Warren plant.
