Severstal North America Appoints Dey Vice President, Strategy and Business Development

Saikat Dey joins company from the consulting firm McKinsey and Co.

The steel manufacturer Severstal North America, headquartered in Dearborn, Mich., has appointed Saikat Dey vice president, Strategy and Business Development. Dey will be responsible for driving the company’s North American business strategies and leading the parent company’s joint venture initiative in India.

Dey joins SNA from McKinsey and Company where he served as associate principal in its Cyclical Commodities Service, Global Energy and Materials practice.
