The Southeast Recycling Development Council (SERDC) has opened registration for its Recycling Summit 2008, to be held the Marriott Grand Hotel and Resort in Point Clear, Ala.
The SERDC is anticipating a “convergence of Southeast recyclers, collection coordinators, executives and administrators from both the public and private sectors” to attend the event. The Summit will also host the Alabama Recycling Coalition, Mississippi Recycling Coalition, Louisiana recyclers’ steering group and the SERDC Annual Meetings.
SERDC Recycling Summit 2008 will include educational sessions, social networking events, workshops and tours, and a legislative roundtable, according to the group.
Exhibitors and sponsors are also being sought for the event. Interested companies can contact either Exhibit Chair Lisa White at lisa.white@spnewsprint.com or Sponsor Chair Arthur Ferguson at arthur.ferguson@kwplastics.com.
More information on the program and activities is available at www.serdc.org/conference.html.
