Sennebogen LLC has introduced two machines to the North American market, both of which were on display at the 2006 ISRI National Convention, which was held the first week of April in Las Vegas.
The Sennebogen 821 Series machines were introduced last year and the 821 M (rubber tired model) was on display at the convention. The machine is also available in a tracked model—the 821 R. Both machines are recommended for use in scrap recycling yards, logging yards and waste transfer stations, according to a press release from the company.
“With operating weights under 55,000 pounds, the 821 M and 821 R are highly efficient units that provide excellent maneuverability in confined work spaces,” says Constantino Lannes, president of Sennebogen LLC.
The 821 M and 821 R are equipped with one large hydraulic axial piston pump and a computer-free load-sensing hydraulic system with energy saving flow on demand control and pressure cut-off function. In addition, the 821s feature a hydraulic cab that rises using two lift cylinders for enhanced stability, a 13-kw generator that is driven off the front of the engine, an improved noise reduction system and ground level centralized test ports for troubleshooting of all work functions, as well as a central lubrication system.
Both machines are powered by a water-cooled 142-hp John Deere diesel engine and have a working radius of 44 feet.
Also on display at the 2006 ISRI convention was the 305 Multihandler C Series, a telehandler with a hydraulic cab with an eye level of 13.3 feet that can reach a lifting height of 24 feet.
The machine has a maximum load-bearing capacity of just over 11,000 pounds and is outfitted with a 100-hp diesel engine.
The 305 Multihandler measures 15.7 feet long, 8.2 feet high and 8.1 feet wide. It comes with an optional two-part XL telescopic boom, which provides the operator an extended reach and lift height of 30 feet.
The 305 also comes with a reversing fan to clean out the cooling system.
