The new Sennebogen 7700 crawler crane with 300 metric ton load in operation. Parts weighing up to 42 metric tons were lifted on the construction site. |
The commercial group REWE has built a new logistics center with two Sennebogen crawler cranes. The general contractor for the construction site is Max Bögl Bauservice GmbH and Co. KG. The two cranes used were the Sennebogen 5500 crawler crane and a new Sennebogen 7700 with 300-metric-ton load from the crane service provider Wiesbauer.
Wiesbauer GmbH & Co. KG says it is impressed by the concept of the new Sennebogen 300 t crawler crane and had the machine delivered to the construction site directly from Sennebogen’s assembly plant in Straubing, Germany.
“The new 7700 is a great machine. It offers outstanding lifting performance and has extremely good loads. [It’s] a reliable and robust machine, which did a perfect job on the construction site,” says Johann Simon, who works in technical services finished parts for Max Bögl.
In total, 2,857 stand parts such as purlins, girders or joists weighing up to 42 metric tons were lifted at this construction site between the end of February and the end of June. For this task, the 7700 was equipped with a 24.3 m main boom and 35.5 m fly boom. The 5500 was operated with a 24.3 m main boom and 29.9 m fly boom.
