Sennebogen Names New Distributor

Scott Equipment has been named the new Sennebogen distributor for Louisiana and parts of Arkansas and Mississippi.

Constantino Lannes, President of Sennebogen America, has named Louisiana-based Scott Equipment the new authorized distributor of Sennebogen material handlers for all of Louisiana, and portions of Arkansas and Mississippi.

“We’re always searching for new opportunities to benefit our customer base, so adding the Sennebogen line to our inventory just made good business sense,” says Scott Cummins, president of Scott Equipment Company. “We knew that the company was a leader in the production of purpose-built material handlers. The Sennebogen line is a perfect complement to our other primary lines – Volvo and CASE, especially for our scrap handling customers.”

Founded in 1939 by Tom Scott, Scott Equipment has multiple locations in the states it serves. The company specializes in serving the petro-chemical and construction sectors of the market, in addition to meeting the needs of its industrial, agriculture, forestry and irrigation customers, the press release says.

Initially, Scott Equipment will target prospective Sennebogen customers in the port and scrap handling markets, the company says. Potential applications in other sectors such as forestry, waste and recycling and demolition will also be pursued.

“We welcome Scott Cummins and the rest of the staff at Scott Equipment to the Sennebogen team,” Lannes says. “Like them, the Sennebogen company is built around family and building and maintaining relationships and partnerships with its dealers and customers.  We anticipate a long and rewarding relationship with Scott Equipment.”
