Straubing, Germany-based material handling equipment provider Sennebogen has announced the appointment of Christian Kaiser and Peter Kröninger to jointly oversee its Sennebogen Vertriebsgesellschaft (SVG) business unit.
Sennebogen calls SVG the part of the Sennebogen Group that is “generally responsible for sales in some parts of Bavaria as well as [the] international point of contact for rental and used machines as well as demolition machines.”
The equipment firm, which has a sizable presence in North America via Stanley, North Carolina-based Sennebogen LLC, says Kaiser has been appointed as managing director-commercial of SVG and Peter Kröninger as managing director-sales.
Sennebogen credits Dr. Andreas Maurer and Alfred Endl with having carried out the management of SVG “with great commitment and vision” in the first eight years after it was founded, with the duo accepting that role in addition to their full-time activities as managing directors of Sennebogen Maschinenfabrik GmbH.
The equipment producer says the “time has now come when a full-time dual leadership is necessary and Mr. Maurer and Mr. Endl will once again focus fully on their tasks at Sennebogen Maschinenfabrik [while] the aim of the new SVG managing directors Christian Kaiser and Peter Kröninger is to further raise the company's profile as an independent, customer-oriented unit and to significantly strengthen its market presence.”
The German company describes SVG as having acted as the exclusive sales and service partner for Sennebogen in in the manufacturer's home territory (four regions in southern Germany) and as having “full responsibility for the Sennebogen demolition machine product segment.”
"With SVG, we offer our customers not only sales, but above all reliable support over the entire machine life cycle: from initial consultation to rental or used solutions, through to comprehensive maintenance and reconditioning," says Kröninger.
He adds, “In our core sectors of material handling, demolition and recycling, speed of response, technical expertise and service availability are crucial—this is where we see our great strength.”
At its site in Steinach, Germany, Sennebogen maintains a workshop for machine reconditioning. From that site, the company also carries out what it calls targeted functional repairs and offers rental machines and used machines for customers and Sennebogen dealers worldwide.
