Sellick Equipment’s Walter Sellick, along with sons Howard Sellick, president; and David Sellick, vice president; and grandson Colin Sellick, systems manager, broke ground on a multimillion dollar, 120,000-square-foot facility in Harrow, Ontario, April, 20, 2016.
“In order to compete on a global scale, we needed to expand and build a state-of-the -art plant,” said Howard.
Sellick Equipment has been manufacturing rough terrain and truck-mounted forklifts for more than 47 years, supplying a variety of industries, including building supply yards and engineered wood products companies, automotive recyclers, oil field services companies and mining and military applications.
In recent years, a new generation of forklifts was introduced featuring enhanced ergonomics, environmentally friendly diesel engines and increased lift capacities, the company says.
Sellick products are supported by a nationwide dealer network.
