Recycling Today archives
The April 2021 issue of Recycling Today will list the 20 Largest Nonferrous Scrap Processors in North America. So that we can put together the most accurate list possible for our readers, we are asking recyclers to submit their 2020 volume information via the form available at www.RecyclingToday.com/form/2021-nonferrous-scrap-processors-form. Rest assured, Recycling Today will not publish the figures you share with us; they will be used to rank companies by pounds of nonferrous metals handled.
The key figure we are asking for is the annual amount of all nonferrous metal scrap (aluminum, copper, lead, zinc, tin), including shredder byproduct, physically handled at your company’s facilities in 2020. Do not include stainless steel, specialty alloys or ferroalloys in your figure. The total should include scrap taken in at all facilities, whether it is processed further or shipped loose. The total should not include scrap brokered by traders, exporters or brokers employed by your company that is never physically present at a company facility.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 5.
For reference, our 2019 list can be accessed here.
