Description: On behalf of Naval Stations Mayport Florida and Kings Bay Georgia, the Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Florida intends to award a Firm-Fixed price base requirements contract with 4 options years for the scheduled maintenance and repair of paper shredding machines to include brand names: Sem, Fellows, Powershred, Schleichers, Shredex, Destroyit, Shredmaster, Ameri-Shred and Olympia.

Specific model numbers and locations will be disseminated in solicitation. Base Period of Performance is 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005.   

This procurement will be conducted under the authority of the test program for commercial items’s Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996? This is 100% set-aside for small business under NAICS CODE 811212 where the small business size standzard is $21M.   

The solicitation N68836-04-T-0142 resulting from this announcement will be electronically available on or about April 23 2004 to qualified interested parties at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.   

Subsequent amendments to the solicitation, if any, will be promulgated via the http://www.fedbizopps.gov website.
