ScrapRight, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, says its ScrapRight and iScrapRight software have options to promote contactless ID scanning for retail scrap transactions. The feature is available through the company’s current app as well as through a new feature, FlipID.
The feature allows users to take a picture of the front of a customer’s ID through glass or at a safe social distance. The customer then flips the ID over, and the user scans the back of the license to get the information from it. It takes only a couple of seconds and promotes contactless, virus-proof scanning, encouraging safer customer interactions.
ScrapRight says its software featuring this technology is at its lowest pricing ever, making it a great time for yards to get a more advanced and easy-to-use software at a lower price than they may be paying currently. iScrapRight plans start at $49 per month, while compliance plans start at $99 per month. Yards can be up and running within a day when they select iScrapRight. For operations that require more robust software, ScrapRight also is at its lowest price ever.
