Scrap Dragon, a scrap yard management software company based in Dunwoody, Georgia, has entered into a strategic partnership with UptimePM, an asset management software and mobile application company. UptimePM allows companies to digitally track machine hours or truck miles, perform daily inspections, alert for service intervals, create and assign work order, track parts information and track fluid consumption.
According to a news release from Scrap Dragon, UptimePM offers a customizable web interface dashboard along with a fully integrated Android and iOS mobile application.
“Integrating with UptimPM to Scrap Dragon’s scrap yard management platform allows our customers to get a 360-degree view of their scrap yard within our single platform,” says Adam Blick, president of Scrap Dragon Software. “Just as Scrap Dragon has eliminated the error-prone paper purchase transaction and manual inventory tracking, Uptime PM has eliminated traditional paper daily checklists for equipment and trucks.”
“I saw a void in the market on how companies were tracking and maintaining their equipment,” says Justin Trentadue, co-founder and chief operations officer of UptimePM and a 15-year scrap industry veteran. “Traditional systems of daily checks on pen and paper are simply inefficient especially in the digital age. The ability to use UptimePM as a tool to help companies become proactive in terms of maintenance as opposed to reactive is especially important during these trying times.”
