Schutte-Buffalo Hammermill Introduces E-Cycler Shredder

Schutte-Buffalo Hammermill, Buffalo, N.Y., has introduced the E-Cycler, a shredder designed to process hard drives and other electronic scrap.

The E-Cycler features replaceable abrasion-resistant steel wear plates and a heavy-duty rotor assembly. A variety of screens sizes and four-way reversible hammers are also available.

 

The E-Cycler liberates precious metals for recovery and recycling from hard drives, while destroying the devices to prevent confidential information from falling into the wrong hands. The shredder is also ideal for the confidential destruction of printed circuit boards, computer chips and cellular phones, according to the company.
