Schupan & Sons announces promotions

Bryan Huggett and Troy Lincomfelt have been named directors of the company.

Schupan & Sons Inc., based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, has announced two promotions.

Huggett Lincomfelt

Bryan Huggett was named director of maintenance coordination for all of Schupan & Sons, and Troy Lincomfelt was promoted to director of Michigan operations for the Schupan Recycling division.

Hired in 1992 as plant manager for Schupan Recycling, Huggett was previously a helicopter air crewman in the U.S. Navy, earning multiple commendations and leadership awards.

In his new role, Huggett will be managing the overall maintenance functions for all divisions and enhancing the hiring, training and retention of Schupan & Sons’ maintenance staff.

“This new position, director of maintenance coordination, is a challenging and important one. I’m certain that Bryan’s experience, leadership and organizational and administrative skills make him the ideal person for this new position,” says Tom Emmerich, COO of Schupan & Sons and president of Schupan Recycling.

Huggett will be transitioning from plant manager of Schupan Recycling to director of maintenance coordination of Schupan & Sons over the next quarter.

As director of Michigan operations, Lincomfelt will oversee and manage all production and operation activities for Schupan Recycling. Hired in 1989 as machine operator/maintenance for parent corporation Schupan & Sons, Limcomfelt moved to Schupan Recycling in 1993, where he was promoted to shift supervisor and then to plant manager in 1997.

“Troy has always exhibited a desire to be challenged and to do more, so he is clearly ready to take on the additional responsibility this new role requires. His experience, knowledge and passion will serve both our company and him well,” Emmerich says.

Lincomfelt will be transitioning from his role as plant manager to director of Michigan operations over the next quarter.
