Metals recycling company Scholz Group, based in Essingen, Germany, has named Klaus Hauschulte CEO of Scholz Recycling GmbH, effective Feb. 1, 2018. He will report to Henry Qin, who will continue in his role as chairman of the board and CEO of Hong Kong-based Chiho Environmental Group (CEG), the owner of Scholz Recycling. Qin, previously CEO of Scholz Recycling GmbH, will remain managing director of the group.
Prior to joining Scholz Group, Hauschulte worked for several manufacturing companies, including Siemens AG and the Benteler Group.
“Scholz is a company with great potential, and I am honored to lead the group into a promising future,” remarks Hauschulte. “Together with its excellent people and my colleagues in the management board, we will develop Scholz to its full performance capability. As part of Chiho Environmental Group, we are very well positioned to grow as one of the few fully integrated platforms for metal recycling globally.”
