Schaefer Systems International, Brampton, Ontario, has introduced its latest RFID integrated carts, the RD5000 mobile reader.
Schaefer's compact reader is embedded in the cart, preventing damage from lift mechanisms, rough handling or adverse weather conditions. With the RD5000 mobile reader users can achieve a new level of visibility, efficiency and accuracy, the company says.
The RD5000 mobile reader is designed for 12 volt quick-attach installation. The device provides WiFI connectivity and GPRS access. Data can be transferred easily without human intervention. The result is real-time information and a new level of productivity and accuracy, according to the press release.
