SCA announced that it has acquired the Spanish packaging company Bertako. Earlier this summer, SCA acquired the German packaging company V+D Stabernack and strengthened its position in the field of packaging products with advanced printing, which previously comprised mainly SCA Nicollet, France.
Bertako has an annual production level of 18,000 tons. Bertako is currently owned by the US-based The Newark Group, Inc.
SCA also announced the acquisition of the North American protective packaging company Packaging Resources for a purchase price for $6 million. Packaging Resources has two production units near Denver.Latest from Recycling Today
