SCA, a multinational paper and paper products company headquartered in Sweden, has completed the acquisition of Copamex’ baby diaper business in Mexico and Central America. The purchase price is around $50 million.
According to a release announcing the deal, SCA already has a market position in the hygiene products segment in Latin America. The acquisition adds baby diapers to SCA’s product portfolio in Mexico and Central America.
The deal was first announced July 21, 2010.
