SCA Acquires Tissue Operations

SCA has acquired all the tissue assets for European-based Munksjo. The purchase price was 28 million Euros (about $37 million)

 

Munksjo has operations in Jonkoping, Sweden and Drammen, Norway. Combined, production is around 45,000 tons a year, with a focus of the operations on both on the consumer tissue and Away From Home (AFH) markets.
