Sayegh Brothers for Engineering Industries Co., based in Amman, Jordan, recently opened a new production lines for recycling scrap copper. In conformity with the continued rise in copper prices, Sayegh Group initiated an effective solution to this social concern by introducing these new additions to its factories.
The new production lines include ovens for melting various grades of scrap copper. The raw material will be produced as plates or ingots.
Michael Sayegh, chairman of the Sayegh Group’s board of directors, noted, "We, at Sayegh Group, are proud to introduce the new production lines. With the continuous rise of copper prices in the world, we are committed to manufacture our own products with the international standards and affordable prices, since copper is used in many industries. Given the importance of copper in the Jordanian industry, we feel that it is our duty to contribute to the economic development of the country".
Through commissioning the said lines, Sayegh Group supplied copper according to special standards to the Union Locks Company, a subsidiary of Sayegh Group. It also supplied circular copper bars to Jordan Copper Fixtures Manufacturing Company and to Sayegh Brothers for Engineering Industries according to special standards.
