Saudi Arabian Company to Install TSC Shredder

The Shredder Co. (TSC) has announced that it has sold its first shredder system in the Middle East to Al Sale Eastern, a leading  scrap processor in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. 

The plant will feature a TSC SXS 80 shredder and will be operated completely off the power grid using diesel generator sets. In light of the distance that scrap has to travel in Saudi Arabia, according to TSC, the plant is designed to process scrap that has been compressed into one-ton-per-cubic-meter logs or bales. 

The shredder will be delivered in the second quarter of 2007 to begin operation in August 2007.
