A report by Bloomberg says that Sanmenxia will expand its capacity of secondary aluminum to 100,000 metric tons.
A report by Bloomberg states that the Chinese firm Sanmenxia Tianyuan Aluminum Co. will increase its aluminum recycling capacity from 50,000 metric tons to 100,000 metric tons by next year.
Increased production is slated to correspond with a commensurate increase in automobile production in China.
"Although there is overcapacity for now, aluminum consumption will definitely increase every year," said Xiao Chongxin, deputy general manager of the company said to reporters.
