Samsung Electronics America Inc. announced that so far this year the company has collected and recycled its 12 millionth pound of electronic scrap. Samsung Recycling Direct, launched last October, is the company’s 50-state recycling program, which allows consumers to drop off their consumer electronics products at more than 200 permanent drop-off centers in the U.S.
