The Samoa Pacific Cellulose LLC, pulp mill, located in Samoa, Calif., will be taking downtime June 23. The company noted that the shutdown is originally scheduled for routine maintenance, although the idling will be extended due to poor market conditions.
The company has not indicated when the mill will be back on line, although it expects to be operational by the end of next month.
