Sackers says it has the technology to recycle more than 90 percent of the discarded commercial materials it collects, “so are well placed to help Ipswich Town Football Club to reach recycling targets.”

“It is essential that we recycle as much as possible, and at ITFC we want to lead by example and will be installing new mixed recycling bins around the stadium to make the whole process as easy as possible,” states Richard Kerry, Ipswich Town stadium manager.
Adds Rosie Richardson, the club’s director of sales, “We were the first carbon neutral football club, and we are constantly looking at ways to ensure we operate ethically. We’re a true blue club,” she says, referring to the team’s colors, “but want to go ‘green’ in terms of waste management; reinforcing the already established links between Vertas and Sackers is allowing us to meet such objectives.”
