Electronics recycler S3 Recycling Solutions, Nashville, Tennessee, purchased a 75,000-square-foot warehouse in Springfield, Tennessee. The company plans to expand operations to the new warehouse on Nov. 12, while keeping its headquarters in Nashville.
According to a company news release, the expansion comes after two years of record growth in revenue and staff size.
“This new facility will allow S3 to better serve our current customers while giving us the capacity to accommodate future growth with clients across the country,” says S3 CEO Rod McDaniel, in a company news release. “This is an important step for S3 as we experience exponential growth and as we chart out our strategic direction for the next several years.”
In November, S3 signed a $1.8 million contract with a health care provider in North Carolina. Also, in 2018, S3 was named by the Nashville Business Journal as one of 26 small businesses making a big impact on the local business community, and McDaniel was listed in the publication’s 2018 class of 40 under 40, which is designed to recognize young professionals in Nashville.
S3 reports that it plans to add 25 jobs in the next five years.
