Two trade shows in the United Kingdom have combined in 2011 to become RWM (Recycling & Waste Management) in partnership with CIWM (Chartered Institution of Wastes Management). The conference will take place Sept. 13-15 at the NEC facility in Birmingham, England.
Attendance at the show is free, event’s organizers say.
Among the attractions and features of RWM in partnership with CIWM are:
- 72 seminars in six subject-specific seminar theaters;
- More than 600 exhibiting companies, including 120 international exhibitors and pavilions from Korea, Austria, Belgium and Switzerland;
- Networking opportunities with formal and informal events from CIWM, plus two networking lounges sponsored by Viridor and Stobart Biomass;
- A dedicated energy-from-waste zone; and
- Concrete crushing demonstrations from the equipment company Red Rhino.
The exhibition features an outdoor exhibit arena for visitors who want to see machinery and equipment in action, according to the event's organizers.
