Dodge-Regupol has changed its name to Ecore International. Additionally, the company has broadened its strategic and geographic focus. The company states that it is the largest user of scrap tire rubber in North America. It manufactures cork, cork/rubber and recycled rubber products, which had primarily been distributed in the United States.
According to Dodge, ECORE will continue to operate in Lancaster, Pa., and retain ownership of all its brands and operating units.
Each year, ECORE recycles 80 million pounds of scrap tire rubber, helping conserve more than 1 million barrels of oil in the process to convert pliable treads into durable products for the construction, consumer, commercial, industrial and sports and leisure markets. With its headquarters in Lancaster, the company employs approximately 240.
