The Rubber Division of the American Chemical Society has announced it will host the Rubber Expo at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh, on Oct. 13-15. The Expo will feature technical sessions and an Expo show floor, in addition to a reflection on the history of the Rubber Division, as the organization celebrates its 100th Anniversary.Among the sessions offered at the convention will be lectures on rubber recycling, the global supply chain to the rubber industry, the future of green energy, automobile elastomers and engineered products, mixing and processing rubber, new commercial developments, tire technology and a rubber group chairs roundtable.
As of June 12, the Rubber Division reported that more than 190 exhibitors had already purchased floor space for the Expo.
