Rubber Technology International has formed a strategic alliance with Western Rubber Products, headquartered in British Columbia. According to a press release, RTI is leasing equipment and technology from Western Rubber. The equipment is ready for operation.
Western Rubber Products, Ltd. recycles about 90 percent of the waste tires generated in British Columbia, Canada.
RTI, based in Los Angeles, handles and processes scrap tires into crumb rubber, which is used for a host of end products.
