RPS is New Name in Reprocessed Plastics

Rubber and polymers producer Goldsmith & Eggleton has created a partnership along with logistics services provider Industrial Transportation Inc. called Reliable Polymer Services Inc. (RPS).

According to a news release from the two companies, the new entity, based in Port Arthur, Texas, “will produce reprocessed polymers through a value-added manufacturing process.”

RPS will use “a unique manufacturing process,” according to the two companies, with Goldsmith & Eggleton responsible for the marketing and sale of the materials produced.

“Each company has the experience, financial strength and a long-term commitment to the synthetic rubber industry,” says Goldsmith & Eggleton CEO Michael Fagan. “We have identified the needs of both the producers and the end use customers to offer a unique package of quality and value,” he comments.

The company’s Port Arthur facility “will also provide the producers of thermoset and thermoplastic elastomers a variety of custom tolling services,” the news release states.
