The board of directors of Routeware Inc., Beaverton, Ore., has named Tom Malone its new president and CEO. Routeware provides on-board computing and intelligence for the waste and recycling industry.
Malone has more than 27 years of technology executive experience in telecom and software companies.
According to Pat Terrell, Routeware’s chairman, Malone will replace Robert DeKoning, who served the company for more than five years.
“Tom’s extensive experience makes him an ideal candidate to lead Routeware to its next level of growth,” Terrell says in a release. “He has a proven track record building trust and teamwork, increasing employee satisfaction and creating a highly-responsive, profitable organization that is very customer-centric.”
“For the past 10 years, Routeware has positioned itself as a powerful innovator,” says Malone. “I look forward to working closely with our customers to bring them superior products, services, and support.”
