The firm says the integration with ArcGIS can enable its users “to effortlessly optimize distribution and field services operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery and service.”
RouteSmart for ArcGIS Pro also provides interoperability with RouteSmart web services and the RouteSmart Online route-planning platform.
“We are excited to make our industry-leading route planning capabilities more easily accessible to the Esri user community,” says Chris Walz, vice president at RouteSmart Technologies. “As an Esri Business Partner for more than 25 years, our route planning solutions have always interoperated with the latest Esri GIS technology, making it easier for organizations to interoperate with our web services and web applications.
“The accessibility of RaaS and RouteSmart for ArcGIS Pro via the ArcGIS Marketplace will further empower organizations to streamline their route planning operations, increase efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to their customers—together with the world’s most powerful GIS platform.”
In addition to RouteSmart for ArcGIS Pro, RouteSmart Technologies says it is making RouteSmart RaaS available on the ArcGIS Marketplace. RaaS provides application programming interface (API) access to RouteSmart Technologies’ “suite of advanced route-planning solvers,” according to RouteSmart.
“With RaaS, organizations can embed route optimization from within existing business and back-office systems with which users are already familiar working with,” the company says. “RaaS fuels the daily route planning needs of some of the largest delivery and field service organizations around the globe.”
