Austin, Texas-based Round2 Inc., an Avnet company within Avnet Integrated Resources, has announced that it will be hosting an event in Denver along with the Broncos where the public is invited to drop off old and unwanted electronics for recycling. The event, known as the Recycling Round-Up, is in its second year and will be held at Sports Authority Field at Mile High April 21, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those interested in participating are encouraged to visit the Denver Broncos Game Plan Green website for complete event details, including a full list of acceptable electronic items and the associated costs for recycling CRT monitors and televisions. Participating in the event will be members of the Round2 recycling ream as well as Denver Broncos alumni and Miles the Mascot.
“As the electronics recycler of the Denver Broncos we are extremely excited to build upon the overwhelming success of last year’s Recycling Round-Up,” says Jeff Mangels, Round2 director of marketing. “This annual event gives everyone in the Denver area an opportunity to keep harmful electronic waste out of landfills and help keep Broncos Country beautiful.”
