Round2 Inc., Austin, Tex., an electronics recycling firm, has reported that it has achieved the Responsible Recycling (R2) certification for its processing facilities in Austin and Coppell, Texas, and Grove City, Ohio. According to a Round2 release, R2, endorsed by the Environmental Protection Agency, establishes a hierarchy for the safe and responsible handling of electronic waste.
In addition to being R2 certified, Round2 is an ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001: 2004, and is an OHSAS 18001: 2007 registered company.
