The Recycling Today Media Group has announced that among the topics to be addressed at its upcoming European conferences will be circular economy efforts in Europe and how plastic fits in to these initiatives. Recycling Today is hosting the colocated and concurrent 2016 Plastics Recycling Conference Europe and 2016 Paper Recycling Conference Europe 1-3 November in Rotterdam.
With many environmental advocates, legislators and brand owners backing circular economy initiatives, the opening session at Plastics Recycling Conference Europe will address the meaning of this concept from the perspective of an industry trade consortium, a brand owner and a plastics recycler.
Presenters at the opening session, which takes place the morning of Wednesday, 2 November, include:
- Clarissa Morawski of Reloop;
- Tino Fonteijn of Unilever; and
- Neil Gloger of InterGroup International Ltd.
The two events get off to a seaborne start with an opening reception the evening of Tuesday, 1 November, on a vessel that will tour the harbor of Rotterdam. The reception is sponsored by Netherlands-based Peute Recycling.
More information on both events, including how to register, can be found here.
