Rotobec Inc., a Canada-based manufacturer of material handling attachments, is promoting its Power Attachment grapples for use in the C&D and scrap recycling markets when equipped with a positioned rotator.
According to a company press release, the Power Attachment grapples offer high versatility in material handling applications due to multiple jaw configuration options including rake/rake, rake/bucket and bucket/bucket.
The company specifically touts Power Attachment’s potential applications in demolition work, material compaction and feeding grinders, debarkers and chippers. The company says that when used to feed processing equipment, the Power Attachments’ continuous positioned rotation minimizes the movement of the excavator, reducing fuel consumption and maintenance costs.
