An article on Construction.RU reports that a deal to erect a recycling plant in Rostov, Russia, was signed Sunday, 19 June 2016, at the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The facility, to be built in the Volgodonsk district, will sort and process solid municipal and industrial material, according to Rostov administration. The project will establish a landfill site for unreclaimable material, as well as a waste transfer station. Optimization of material collection and transportation logistics also will be considered in the project.
Investment in the project is estimated at 961.7 million roubles. This includes investors’ expense and allocation from the local budget. Construction.RU says the project is expected to create 220 new jobs.
