Linda Leone, who has led the fiber procurement for the Solvay mill in Solvay, N.Y., has accepted a new position with RockTenn, Norcross, Ga. Under the new position she will manage the fiber procurement groups for six of the company’s ten recycled board mills in the United States.
While continuing to direct purchases for the Solvay mill, Leone also will be in charge of supplying recovered fiber to RockTenn’s coated recycled paperboard mills in Stroudsburg, Pa.; Missiquoi, Vt.; St. Paul, Minn.; Battle Creek, Mich.; and Dallas.
Additionally, RockTenn has named Bob Carpenter as fiber procurement manager for the Solvay mill; Scott Reed, the company’s Northeast buyer; and Melanie Walrath, fiber procurement coordinator for the Solvay mill.
Leone will remain at the company’s Williamsville, N.Y., office.
