Perry D. Roark has been appointed general manager of Industrial Scrap Consulting LLC (ISC), a scrap management firm formed as a limited partnership between Cohen Brothers Inc., Middletown, Ohio, and OmniSource Corp., Fort Wayne, Ind.
Roark previously helped establish the ISC business model while serving as a project manager at Worthington Industries, ISC’s initial client when the ISC partnership was established in 2001.
In his 35 years at Worthington, Roark also served as a regional controller and in several plant and office roles for the Ohio-based company.
In his new role at ISC, Roark will concentrate on both improving the ISC-Worthington initiative at the 47 Worthington Industries facilities as well as taking part in the strategic planning of future scrap initiatives.
