River Metals Recycling’s (RMR), Greensburg, Ind., facility has contributed to the Decatur, Ind., County Community Foundation’s (DCCF) ReLeaf drive. The drive will help replace the trees lost around the greater Greensburg area during severe storms that hit the region in May 2011.

RMR’s gift will allow the foundation to purchase and plant 20 trees.

In a statement, RMR says the donation exemplifies how the company values the environment of the communities in which we operate and recognize its importance to our employees, their families and our continued welfare.

RMR, a wholly owned division of David J. Joseph Co., has 10 processing facilities throughout the Ohio Valley region. In addition to Greenburg, Ind., the company has facilities in Henderson, Louisville, Newport, Owensboro, Paducah and Somerset, Ky.; Metropolis, Ill.; and Xenia and Cincinnati, Ohio.
