RISI unveils China recovered paper conference agenda

Event Dec. 3-4 in Shenzhen, China, will feature speakers from China, Europe and U.S.


Boston-based forest products information company RISI has released the program for its 4th Annual RISI China International Recycled Fiber Conference, which takes place in Shenzhen, China, Dec. 2-4, 2015.

After an opening reception the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 2, the event features a full program on Dec. 3 and a half-day of programming on Dec. 4.

On Dec. 3, the opening keynote session includes presentations from Chinese trade association representatives as well as an overview of United States recovered paper trends from Bill Moore of Atlanta-based Moore & Associates.

The afternoon of Dec. 3, panelists and presenters include Marc-Antoine Belthe, the head of recycled paper sales for Europe for France-based Veolia Environmental Service and Sarah Feng, an associate director with RISI’s China-based UMPaper subsidiary.

On Friday, Dec. 4, the morning’s programming will focus on the outlook for recovered paper markets in Asia, with panelists including: Hannah Zhao, RISI senior economist; Johan Boons, general manager of Belgium-based Sha International BVBA; Dan Chen of Veolia Environmental Services Asia in Shanghai; and Michael Ford of Transpacific Cleanaway in Australia.
