Boston-based RISI, an information provider for the global forest products industry, has launched a new global publication covering the pulp and paper industry.
The new magazine, Pulp & Paper International (PPI), will be sent to more than 30,000 subscribers throughout
Rhiannon James-van Beuningen, RISI senior vice president, marketing services, says, “With ongoing globalization in the pulp and paper industry and the audience’s need to know what’s going on around the world, we have decided to unite the two most powerful magazines in the sector, Pulp & Paper and its sister publication PPI, to create one global force.”
He adds, “This worldwide presence makes us the only true global information provider in the sector. The new magazine will offer the most comprehensive coverage in the industry and will reach more people around the globe than any other pulp and paper publication.”
In addition, RISI has announced that a new digital edition of the magazine will be available in 2009 with a projected circulation of 10,000 subscribers. The company will also be expanding its Chinese coverage, which includes a new quarterly publication, Pulp & Paper International (PPI)
