Richard Gertler, a 26-year veteran of the scrap recycling industry, has joined his brother Jeffry Gertler as a partner and principle of Scrap Metal Services LLC (SMS),
“I look forward to returning to the scrap business and re-joining my brother Jeff in building the necessary infrastructure for the future growth of SMS,” says Richard Gertler. “We have over 50 combined years of experience in metals recycling and processing, marketing, multi-facility scrap management operations, and scrap processing equipment installations,” he adds.
“Having Rick return to the scrap business is a great addition and asset to the SMS organization,” says Jeff Gertler. “We have worked together throughout our careers in the scrap industry and know what it takes to expand and prosper in business, while always ensuring that our customers are completely satisfied.”
SMS provides scrap management and brokerage services for ferrous and nonferrous scrap suppliers and generators.
