Description
The GLAC is soliciting quotations to provide all labor and materials necessary to remove and recycle post consumer items (paper, cardboard, plastic, cans etc.) from the VA Medical Center, Tomah, WI. Anticipated period of performance is June 1, 2002-May 31, 2003 with four (4), one-year option renewal periods, at the Government’s discretion. Anticipated award effective date is June 1, 2002. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about April 24, 2002.

Description
Treasure Island Job Corps is requesting a proposal to provide Trash, Refuse, and Recycling Collection Services for our Facilities. These services will include the buildings known to the Treasure Island Job Corps.
All interested vendors will follow the following procedure: Step 1: Contact Ezequiel Vega, 415-277-2429, to notify him of interest on bidding and obtain a copy of the RFP packet. The packet will include an application to the City and County of San Francisco for a permit to operate in a Federal Facility. Step 2: Fill out the application upon receipt and submit it to the City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Environmental Health Management. The application will be sent to prospective bidders upon request along with a copy of RFP and response requirements and guidelines.

Ezequiel Vega 655 H Avenue Building 442 San Francisco, CA 94130 The response must include documentation from the City and County of San Francisco (i.e. a letter) indicating the prospective vendor's pre-qualification to obtain a permit as a Federal Facility Trash and recycling collection provider according to the City and County of San Francisco guidelines.
Therefore, all prospective vendors must immediately send their application to obtain this letter to the address mentioned in step 2. The proposal will have to structured including the following information: 1. Business Name and Address 2. Name and Title of representative submitting this proposal 3. Date submitted 4. Description and itemization of services to be performed under this proposal to include: Building # # Containers per building Capacity of Containers Frequency of Collection Type of Waste collected per container 5. Government qualifications: All items in the above list will be awarded to one offeror. 6. Offeror qualifications: Must posses permit to operate in a federal facility after contract award for the services requested.
Must demonstrate the ability to provide the services requested. Offeror must demonstrate the ability to start services on the required service date. 7. POC orders are to be placed with: 8.
