Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform Refuse/Recycling Collection and disposal services for the industrial and family housing areas at Holloman AFB, NM and operate a government provided recycling collection facility. The NAICS code for the refuse and recycling services is 562212. The estimated yearly refuse tonnage is 4,000 Actual Tons. The Industrial Area has approximately 270 containers (4CY) and the average collection frequency is three(3) times weekly.
The Housing Area has approximately 1500 residential units and the average collection frequency is two(2) times weekly for refuse and one(1) additional collection for recyclables. Holloman AFB also requires seven (7) Roll off Containers (40 CY) which are collected two (2) times weekly. The requirement is for a one year base period and four option years and is an 8 (a) competitive, nation-wide set aside. Final Solicitation for Request of Proposals will be issued on or about 20 Jun 02.
